Terms of Service
Terms and conditions for using the Cursorist platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cursorist platform ("Service"), operated by the Cursorist project ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, installing a plugin, or otherwise using the Service you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
- You must authenticate via GitHub OAuth. We do not store your GitHub password.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Plugins and Content
- Plugins published on Cursorist are user-generated content. We do not claim ownership of your plugins.
- By publishing a plugin you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and cache it through the Service.
- You must not publish content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
- We reserve the right to remove any plugin or content at our sole discretion.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except as permitted by open-source licenses).
- Use the Service to distribute malware, phishing, or other harmful code.
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Impersonate another user or entity.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, and the Cursorist name are our intellectual property. Plugins remain the property of their respective authors. Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.
6. Availability and Changes
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
- We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
